Local DreamRoot leaders, Jhon and Eneide, held a community training and career fair event in January at the Arte Suave, DreamRoot Training Center. They mobilized local talent to serve and develop their community. They collaborated with 7 local professionals to bring a variety of services and training to community members and leaders.
The weekend included:
• Work authorization guidance and employment paper processing offered by lawyers
• Nutrition for physical and mental health seminar led by a licensed nutritionist
• Overcoming anxiety seminar led by a licensed therapist
• Career counseling to youth
• Aesthetician vocational training
• Free haircuts to community members
• Food donations distributed to families
