2026 Q3 Impact Report: Mapping Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Across Borders

This quarter was full of new beginnings and deepening roots. We began a new partnership with a residential care home for children and adolescent girls in Recife. We watched local leaders step up to facilitate their own organization’s training. And we joined the FORGE Innovation Lab to map entrepreneurial ecosystems, beginning in Cameroon and Romania.
On the mats, the Candeias Jiu-Jitsu program welcomed 42 visitors from three countries, and Gabriel brought new leadership tools home from his exchange in Virginia. In the Sertão, local leaders kept creating space every week for literacy, creativity, and community. In São Paulo and Recife, we joined conversations with entrepreneurs, economists, and business leaders asking how business and development can serve the flourishing of all.
Across each of these spaces, we saw one thing again and again: when local leaders are equipped and connected, their capacity grows, and so does their impact on the people and communities they serve.

LISTENING COMES BEFORE BUILDING
In both the FORGE ecosystem mapping and our new care-home partnership, we began by listening. Strategies people help shape are strategies they carry forward. Whether it’s a team of 50 caregivers or entrepreneurs in Cameroon and Romania, lasting change starts with every voice being heard.
