2026 Brazil Camp Impact

We just wrapped up our seventh weeklong Brazil Exchange Camp, and the days got a little quieter.

Since our first camp in 2015, we’ve welcomed fifty-six people to experience Brazil alongside us. Several have come back two, three, and even six times, while many return to bring their spouses and children.

This year felt different. After more than 10 years of work in Brazil, during this camp we got to see the fruit of seeds planted long ago in really amazing ways. Davi and Ingrid, who saw the ocean for the first time at camp in 2022, came back this year. Davi now speaks beautiful English, and they brought Andreilson, a boy from their community, to see the ocean for his very first time. Six academies, with over 85 people trained together across two countries. Lou and Kathryn Armezzani walked into the training center they helped build. And a group of teenage girls saw a female black belt for the first time.

It’s moments like this that make the entire journey worth it.

Some growth only comes with time: persistence, consistency, and walking with people for the long haul, not the short term. This year we watched what was poured out years ago get multiplied and carried forward by others.

We put the whole story together in our impact report, and we'd love for you to read it HERE.

None of this happens without you. Even from far away, you were part of every moment this week. Thank you.

Our next Brazil Camp is in October 2027. You don't need to know anything about jiu-jitsu to come, and we'd love to host your group, business, or church on other dates too. The interest form is at the end of the report.

Bring Your Group

Do you have a group from your business, organization, or church? We would be overjoyed to host you on dates that work for you. We'll curate an unforgettable, life-changing week around your group.
